Nesquehoning police report

Nesquehoning police recently released a report of citations issued between Feb. 20 and March 6.

Rudolph Petschauer of East Railroad Street was cited for meeting or overtaking a school bus that was at the intersection of Railroad and Ratcliff streets.Madeline Pegeuro of Millwood Drive, Tobyhanna, was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended driver's license.Over the course of that period, officers also filed three citations for expired inspection stickers; two citations for careless driving; and one crash involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property at Kovatch Mobile Equipment.They also issued one citation each for dogs running loose, permitting an unauthorized person to drive, and for a tractor-trailer failing to stop at the posted stop sign at the top of the Broad Mountain coming into the borough.In addition, officers cited 17 vehicles for speeding within the borough limits, with the top speed clocked at 76 in a 55 mph zone; and gave 13 traffic warnings for various vehicle violations.
