March 6, 2010 - Palmerton's Shea Solt and Sawyer Allen both earn gold medals in the second day of the District 11 Class 2A swimming championships. Solt captures the 500 freestyle in 5:01.92 to set a new district record, and also earns the Swimmer of the Meet award. Allen finishes in a tie for first in the 100 breaststroke, as he and Southern Lehigh's John Deutsch both touch the wall in 1:03.67. The Blue Bombers gain two other medals as Katie Pielmeier takes second in the 100 breaststroke and KP Pielmeier finishes third in the 500 freestyle.
