A large amount of cash and drugs were found following a vehicle stop by Kidder Township police.
Police stopped Natan Jakibov, 41, of Brooklyn, New York, at 1:05 a.m. Sunday. He was driving a Chrysler mini-van that was stopped for a motor vehicle code violation along Route 534.While speaking with the Jakibov, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana. As a result officers discovered over 1 pound of marijuana and over $5,000 in cash.Police charged Jakibov with felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana, and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as well as summary traffic violations.Jakibov was arraigned with bail was set at $50,000. He was unable to post the bail and was committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning.
