The Woman's Club of Slatington has announced that Northern Lehigh High School senior Karlyna Kemery of Slatington has been chosen as Girl of the Month for March.

Karlyna is the daughter of Francis and Dawn Kemery and lives with her parents and brothers, Gavin and Preston.She participates in soccer, basketball and track. Karlyna also serves as secretary for student council and SADD, is a member of the National Honor Society, a school board representative and is involved with Bigs & Littles.Her other interests include tap and jazz dancing at the Accent School for Dance, going to the beach, camping, helping with community events, playing with her dog and spending time with her family and friends.She plans to attend DeSales University to major in criminal justice.
