A Saylorsburg man pointed a shotgun at state troopers outside his home, according to court records.

Michael Neil Crone, 48, of Cliff Drive, was arrested after the incident which on Saturday, Feb. 25 around 7:20 a.m.According to the report, Crone pointed a .20-gauge shotgun out the door of the trailer at three state policemen, who were in full uniform at the time.The troopers drew their own weapons and ordered Crone to drop the shotgun, and he complied.The troopers said that just before Crone opened the door, they saw someone pull open a blanket that served to shade the window, as if someone had been looking at it.The troopers also heard someone yell from inside before Crone opened the door.The troopers had gone to Crone's home to question him about a threat made against a neighbor, according to court documents.Crone was charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault among other charges.He is currently incarcerated at Monroe County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail.
