High winds to continue through 10 a.m., power outages possible

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a high wind warning in effect until 10 a.m.

Winds will be 30 to 35 mph at times with widespread gusts 50 to 60 mph.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and impact high profile vehicles traveling open high terrain and over bridges. Some tree limbs or wires are expected to break and cause power outages.
