State police at Frackville reported investigating a crash early Mondayalong Route 1016 (Lofty Road), in Delano Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Francia M. Marte-Tavara, 42, of Hazleton, was driving a 2013 Toyota Highlander southbound when her vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle. After impact the other vehicle continued southbound while Tavara's vehicle became disabled.Tavara sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton Campus by McAdoo ambulance.Troopers cited Tavara for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
