A would-be burglar was arrested after her victim struck her with a gun, according to police.

The burglar, Dina Jungermann, was arrested by police at the scene, according to Pocono Mountain Regional Police.

Officials said that Jungermann, 49, forced her way into a residence on Winding Way in Coolbaugh Township Sunday afternoon.

Jungermann allegedly assaulted the victim over personal belongings. The victim then retaliated by striking Jungermann with a handgun.

Jungermann was charged with burglary and criminal trespass, which are both felonies, among other charges.

She is currently incarcerated in lieu of $5,000 bail.
