Oscar's hits and misses from the red carpet

Awarding the Best Picture Oscar to "La La Land" instead of "Moonlight" might not have been the only flub of Sunday night's Academy Awards ceremony. According to some viewers, Dakota Johnson's gold, strong-shouldered gown by Gucci was a flop.

"Dakota was a HUGE miss," said Allison Hart. Soraya Gimenez said she "hated" it. Cindy Winegar also called it a miss.Other dresses getting Winegar's thumbs-down were worn by Faye Dunaway, Janelle Monae, Ginnifer Goodwin, Leslie Mann and Octavia Spencer.Candy Knappenberger loved the Hollywood glam, including the makeup and hairstyles, and the retro look adopted by several stars. Her favorite was Chrissy Teigen, although she thought "her hair was terrible."Other viewers sharing their thoughts about the designs the stars wore for Hollywood's biggest night on Facebook gave Jessica Biel an enthusiastic thumbs-up.Biel was a favorite, looked statuesque beside husband Justin Timberlake in a gold metallic KaufmanFranco column dress.Emma Stone was also a fan favorite. Michelle Stein-Schaeffer cited Stone as her favorite."Emma does look beautiful. Very glamorous," said Stein-Schaeffer. "The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), too."The grande dame of Hollywood, Meryl Streep, was a winner for Donna Bogert."I haven't seen much, but Meryl Streep looks absolutely divine! That's Hollywood!"Cathy LoRe praised Nicole Kidman."I'm not a Nicole Kidman fan, but I think she looked beautiful, elegant. And I loved Viola Davis' dress!" said LoRe. "The misses are all the dresses cut down to the waist -- nothing attractive about them, in my opinion. I can't decide if Ryan Gosling's shirt is hit or miss, but, hey, he's Ryan Gosling, we'll say it's a hit!"Gimenez said she loved the dresses worn by "Halle Berry, Viola Davis, Nicole Kidman, Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Williams, the woman from 'Moonlight' dressed in white leather and Janelle Monae."Winger's favorites included Pauletta Washington, Isabelle Huppert ("Beautiful!"), Hailee Steinfeld, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Chrissy Teigen, Naomie Harris, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, Nicole Kidman, Emma Stone and Viola Davis.Kelly Ripa and Kirsten Dunst also garnered some likes on our Facebook page.In case you missed Sunday night's awards ceremony, here are some of the hits and misses from the red carpet.
