Two people were injured late Sunday afternoon in a crash along Route 443 in Mahoning Township.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 443 and Mill Road in the village of Normal Square.A sport utility vehicle traveling west and stopped at the traffic light was struck in the rear by a mini van.The two occupants of the SUV were treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance, before being transported to an area trauma center.The Mahoning Valley fire company responded to the scene.Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
