The Pleasant Valley school district board of education has accepted an agreement of sales for the building located at 660 Interchange Road. The building was previously used by the district as a warehouse.
The property was listed for $600,000 a few months ago and the offer made by Eugene Fisher ofBrooklyn, New York, is$500,000. The board voted unanimously to accept the offer.The district recently repaired the roof of the building at a cost of $126,000.Also during Thursday evening's meeting, the board approved two settlements related to grievances filed by employees. Both board President Len Peeters and director Doug Wisser voted against the settlement agreements. The Times News' requests for copies of the grievances were denied by the district.
