The Palmerton Concourse Club will meet at 7

p.m.March 2. Guest speaker will be Jesse Dameron, Mystery Motivation Corporate Entertainer. He will offer mind reading routines, influence their thoughts with the power of suggestion, and deliver other powerful feats of the mind. A meeting will be held Tuesdayat the Palmerton Borough Hall for groups planning to participate or potential nonprofit groups that may want to join. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.Holy Trinity LutheranHoly Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton will hold worship service at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school is before worship.This year Lenten services will be shared with Trinity's sister church, St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Franklin Township. Ash Wednesday services will be at Holy Trinity at 7 p.m. March 1. Please come to join in worship and fellowship with members of both churches.Tax assistanceCertified AARP Tax-Aide volunteers are available to provide free tax form assistance to middle- and low-income taxpayers, especially seniors ages 60 and older. To receive help filing the 2016 federal, state and local tax returns or your Pennsylvania property tax and rent rebate applications, taxpayers must bring copies of their 2015 tax returns plus all income information, real estate tax receipts, any deduction information, and health care enrollment pertaining to 2016. All sites offer e-filing and direct deposit for any refunds. The Palmerton Senior Center, 501 Delaware Ave., Palmerton is one of the sites. Tax-Aide is available from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays, now through April. Do not call the center for information. This is on a first-come, first-served basis.
