STEP-Up Carbon's next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesdayat St. Peter's Community Resource Center, 177 Main Road, Lehighton.

This month's speaker will be Brandon Williams, a counselor for men at the Carbon County Correctional Facility. He will share information on the challenges inmates face.Step-Up Carbon's mission is to assist those dealing with addiction to get all of the support necessary - medical treatment, housing, life skills training, support networks, etc., to integrate them back into society to attain a positive and successful future.This process will be done through Support, Treatment, Enforcement and Prevention.
