The Monroe County commissioners have hired Legion Security Services Inc. to provide armed security for the Monroe County Administrative Center during regular working hours.

Security will be on property for 45 hours per week at a rate of $19 per hour.Professional services agreements were executed for Barry Cohen, Esquire for the Sheriff's office and James Fareri, Esquire for the Planning Commission.The commissioners also executed an extended warranty agreement with Fraser Advanced Information Systems for 56 new copiers for the county. The agreement will run for five years beginning March 2017 through March 2022. The total amount for the copiers and services is $357,085.
