Bombers' Perschy to attend Franklin & Marshall

Palmerton High School senior Garrett Perschy will continue his academic and athletic career at Franklin & Marshall.

Perschy was a four-year member of the Blue Bombers varsity football team and set numerous records as the team's quarterback. He threw for 200-or-more yards seven times this past season, helping his team reach the District 11 Class 2A championship game. He finished the year 153-of-261 for single-season school records of 2,155 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also ran for 313 yards and nine scores.The First Team Colonial League quarterback holds the single game school record for passing yards (267) and now owns the career record for passing yards (4,595) and touchdowns (42).Perschy, who also played basketball and baseball at Palmerton, was Student Council President, and was involved in FBLA, Environmental Club, and National Honor Society. He was also the Gridiron Club President.Perschy plans to major in business. His parents are Shane Perschy, and Terri and Aaron Sebelin.
