State police at Fern Ridge investigated the following incidents:

Disorderly conduct:Cathryn Mercedes Ramos, 25, of Albrightsville, was cited by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks with disorderly conduct after an incident at 7:17 p.m. Jan. 28on Martingale Drive, Jackson Township. Police said it is alleged she went to a residence at that location and began to ring the doorbell and hit the doors and windows of the home while yelling outside the residence.Family altercation:State police were summoned to Nosirrah Road in the Mount Pocahontas development, Penn Forest Township, at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 22 when a mother and her son were involved in a fight. Police said the 14-year-old son reportedly got out of control during an argument with his 38-year-old mother, and started punching objects in the home. A physical altercation occurred as the mother attempted to gain control of her son, police said.Criminal trespass:State police are investigating a criminal trespass incident that happened between 4 p.m. Feb. 1 and 3:43 p.m. Feb. 3 at a residence on Russell Court in Effort.Police said someone entered the residence through an unlocked garage door and placed two red road flares on the kitchen countertop.
