A Tamaqua man has been charged after he removed a stove from a Summit Hill apartment.

Summit Hill police were called to the School House apartments on Jan. 4, where they met with the owner of the property after he discovered a stove was missing from one of the units.Officers then spoke with Jeffrey Bresnak, 24, of Old Route 209, regarding the stove and he told police that he had moved the stove to another apartment in the building. The stove was never located.He was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
