Several defendants were sentenced in Carbon County court on Friday by Judge Steven R. Serfass.
Kimberly A. Molle, 43, of Jim Thorpe, was sentenced to serve one day less one year to one day less two years in the county prison on charges of possession with intent to deliver. On a charge of controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance she was placed on probation for two years, consecutive to the first count.She was arrested on both charges by Jim Thorpe police. The possession with intent occurred on Sept. 11, 2015, in the 600 block of Fern Street.She was also ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, and render a total of 200 hours of community service when paroled.She will begin the jail term at 9 a.m. Feb. 1 and was granted work-release privileges.Casey Kreiger,28, of Lehighton, was sentenced to time-served (166 days) to one day less 24 months in prison on charges of criminal use of a communication facility and 18 months probation consecutive to the jail term on a theft count.He was charged after he sold 10 bags of heroin to a confidential informant in a controlled buy conducted by the county drug task force. The theft count stems from an incident on Oct. 15, 2009, filed by Jim Thorpe police.He was also ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, and render a total of 200 hours of community service.Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee when parole or probation.
