Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Possession of controlled substance:Allen Fink, 55, of Palmerton, was charged for an incident Jan. 2 in the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue.Simple assault:James Hunsicker, 49, of Nesquehoning, was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, persistent disorderly conduct, and harassment, for an incident Jan. 25 at Fifth Street and Columbia Avenue.Restrictions on alcoholic beverages:Gene Warnkin III, 33, of Lehighton, was charged for an incident Jan. 17 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.Citations:Police issued six citations for investigation by police officers, six for traffic violations, four for vehicle violations, and one for maximum gross weight.
