Man charged in tunnel weapons case marches against heroin

ALLENTOWN (AP) - A Pennsylvania man facing charges after a botched "rescue" attempt of a girl whose friend had overdosed on drugs has led a march against heroin in Allentown.

John Cramsey led a march of 50 people Sunday past two motels that had been the scene of heroin-related arrests chanting "enough is enough."He told the Allentown Morning Call that the community needs to stand together and that the marchers "are the warriors fighting for our children's lives."Cramsey says the death of the teenager who inspired his trip with two others tore him apart. He says he wanted to get her out safely, but got stopped before he got to her.Cramsey, Dean Smith and Kimberly Arendt are facing weapons charges after they were stopped at the entrance of the Holland Tunnel in Jersey City last June.
