LuLaRoe consultants Suzanne Lynn and Stephanie Larry recently presented Horses & Horizons Therapeutic Learning Center Inc. with a check for $955. This donation represented the proceeds from a bingo event that the two women hosted on Jan. 15 at the Summit Hill Heritage Center in Summit Hill. Prizes for the bingo were LuLaRoe leggings and other "Simply Comfortable" fashions.
Horses & Horizons is a registered nonprofit organization that offers a special program of therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with special needs. The center is based at Harvey and Elaine Smith's Helping Horse Farm, located between the towns of New Ringgold and Tamaqua.In addition to being a LuLaRoe consultant, Suzanne Lynn is a special-education teacher in the Palmerton Area School District. Last summer she volunteered at Horses & Horizons where she served as a side aide to assist riders with various disabilities during their lessons."My time spent volunteering at HHTLC proved to be a challenging, yet very rewarding experience that allowed me to grow as a teacher and learn about the beautiful horses," said Lynn. "Seeing the devotion and dedication put forth by Harvey and Elaine inspired me to give back to HHTLC the way they do for so many.
