Hearing delayed again in police chase, crash that killed 3

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A preliminary hearing has again been postponed for a Pittsburgh man charged with homicide for crashing into a car and killing a family of three during a 100 mph chase on Thanksgiving.

Friday's hearing for 22-year-old Demetrius Coleman has been postponed until March 10.Coleman is jailed and the public defender has a blanket "no comment" policy.Allegheny County police say the fiery crash in North Versailles (ver-SAYLS') killed David Bianco, his fiancee, Kaylie Meininger, and her 2-year-old daughter, Annika.Police were following Coleman after he sped from a traffic stop in East McKeesport once officers learned he was wanted for violating probation. The district attorney has since said he doesn't believe police pushed Coleman to drive that fast, and that Coleman and his female passenger had been driving around selling heroin earlier that day.
