Steven R. Wengerd, 27, of Lewisburg, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 14 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said he was driving a 2004 Nissan Titan westbound when it veered to the right on the icy roadway and began to spin across both lanes of travel. The vehicle flipped onto its roof and came to rest in the median, facing east. He was not injured.Police said the car sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
