The Pleasant Valley Intermediate School Parent Teacher Organization's book fair will be held during school hours as well as during the evening today. To date 15 homes have been restored or renovated.According to Habitat's executive director Kelly Kemmerer, applications are now being accepted for the remaining 15 projects.To qualify for home preservation, a single person must have an annual income of less than $38,000, and a family of 2, less than $44,100; they must also have homeowner's insurance and be current with mortgage payments and taxes. Awards for council level will be presented at 12:30.The district round registration will begin immediately following the council round and will conclude by 1:30 p.m. District awards will be awarded once all competitors have participated.All boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 14 are eligible to participate.There is no fee for this event.
