State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

• At 9:19 a.m. Dec. 8, troopers responded to a domestic incident in the area of100 Birch Lane in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. While investigating the incident it was learned that Christopher Michael Pellegrino had an active warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody.• A vehicle stop along Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, has led to drug charges against the driver. Troopers said Justin Curtis Smith, 32, of Chicago was stopped at 3:27 p.m. Jan. 1 for going 85 mph in a 65 zone. At the stop troopers smelled the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. As a result of a search, 23.3 grams of marijuana was seized. Smith was charged with drug counts.
