Dora the "explorer" is back home at Paul's House

One of the accomplishments this year at Valor Clinic Foundation and Paul's House was the placing of 12 service dogs with local veterans.

One dog, a 5-year-old black lab was given to two brothers residing at Paul's House in the old Hotel Jonas in Polk Township.Unfortunately, earlier this month a visitor to the house accidentally let Dora out and she ran away.Residents of the house and neighbors had searched for Dora for 17 days went she was humanly trapped by Donna Barney.According to Sandy Spotts of Valor Dora had was caught four and a half miles from Paul's House."She looks remarkably good considering what she has been through," said Spotts. "She is back with Doug and Rich and we have been told she needs to stay indoors and needs time to decompress."Spotts said that the dog is "exhausted" from her adventures and needs her "quiet time."
