One person was injured Saturday afternoon in a crash along Route 309 in Tamaqua.

The crash occurred at 1:30 p.m. as the driver was traveling north just past the border with West Penn Township on a snow covered roadway.

The car left the right berm striking several trees. One of the occupants was injured and transported to St. Luke's Miner's Campus in Coaldale.

Tamaqua Police are investigating the incident.
