A 15-year-old girl has been taken into custody and is facing charges of setting a fire that destroyed a home in Schuylkill County Thursday morning.

State police at Frackville said the fire was reported about 9:30 a.m. at 319 W. Grand Ave. in Porter Township, near Tower City. The home of Joan and Deron Ludwig was gutted by the flames.Fire marshal trooper John Burns investigated the incident and said there were multiple points of origin within the home.There were no injuries in the incident with damages estimated in excess of $100,000.
