Charges are pending against a Lehighton man whose vehicle snapped off a utility pole during a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Mahoning Township. Mahoning Township Police said the crash occurred at 10:14 p.m. in the 2200 block of Mahoning Drive West, when a GMC Sierra, driven by Brian Kintz, 42, struck and sheared off a utility pole, causing a road closure.
