State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers.
• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 2:31 p.m. Dec. 17 along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Raymond Scheier, 18, of King of Prussia, was operating a 2008 Land Rover when it left the road and landed in a ditch. Neither Scheier nor his three passengers, all from King of Prussia, were injured. The vehicle had to be towed.Troopers cited Scheier for the crash.• A two-vehicle crash occurred at 5:57 p.m. Dec. 28 at the intersection of Weir Lake Road and Route 209, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Dwayne E. Riebel, 57, of Saylorsburg was eastbound on Weir Lake Road and attempted to turn left onto 209 while Eva N. Vicente, 29, of Kunkletown, was westbound on Weir Lake Road attempting to go straight across 209. The light was green at the time, troopers noted. Riebel failed to yield to Vicente while turning left and his 2004 Pontiac Grand Am was struck by Vicente's 2009 Nissan Altima.No one was injured. The Pontiac had to be towed from the scene. Troopers cited Riebel for vehicle turning left.• Troopers investigated a rear-end, three-vehicle crash at 5:20 p.m. Dec. 31 at the intersection of Route 115 and Poplar Creek Lane in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said a 2012 Nissan Juke driven by Dmitriy G. Revzin, 20, of Albrightsville, rear-ended a 2014 Nissan Versa operated by Ryan A. Coody, 20, of Blakeslee, pushing it into the rear of a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Trevor B. Bartholomew, 33, of Greentown, Pike County.No one was injured. Troopers cited Revzin for following too closely.
