A Monroe County man was killed in a one-vehicle crash that was reported at 12:35 a.m. Saturday.

State police at Fern Ridge identified the victim as Jeffrey J. Moroch, 30, of Effort.Troopers said the crash occurred on State Road, just west of Chipperfield Drive, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Moroch's vehicle traveled off the right side shoulder and struck a tree, then rolled over several times.Moroch was pronounced dead at the scene by a member of the county coroner's office.
