Police are looking for information about the shooting of an Allentown man Wednesday evening.

Francisco Cruz-Williams, 26, was found near Nagle and Allen streets about 9:52 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, where he died an hour later.City police said officers were on routine patrol in the area of Eighth and Allen streets when several gunshots were heard. A check of the area led to the officers finding Cruz-Williams.He attended LCCC where he studied sound recording and engineering, according to the Easton Express-Times.Police were assisted at the scene by the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office, the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force and the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.The investigation is ongoing, and anyone who may have information related to this incident is asked to contact the Allentown police detective bureau at 610-437-7721.
