Several appointments were made Tuesday evening at the Bowmanstown Council meeting.

Chad Everett, who stepped in last year to fill a spot on the Zoning Hearing Board that was expiring, was approved for a three-year term.Mark Quinn was appointed to a four-year term on the planning commission, and Paul Bossard was appointed to the vacancy board.Sean Corey was expected to be appointed as the zoning officer and building code officer, but some of the council members wanted to discuss his credentials and fee before voting. The council met in executive session, then approved the appointment. He will be paid a flat fee of $240 a month.Council approved making Bill Ranert the delegate to the Carbon County Tax Collection Committee, with Rob Moyer as the alternate delegate. Wayne Engle was approved for the UCC Appeals Board.
