The theft of a package containing a money order and clothing from a mailbox on the 800 block of Fawn View Road in the Frantz Estates, Chestnuthill Township, is being investigated by state police at Fern Ridge.

The resident told police the package was taken sometime between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 21.The total loss is listed at $70.
