State police at the Fogelsville barracks are seeking information about a hit-and-run crash that happened between 5 p.m. Dec. 25 and 4 p.m. Dec. 26 on Route 309, near the intersection with Mountain Road in Lynn Township.

Police said a vehicle traveling north left the roadway and went through a wood and wire fence on the property of Bear Rock Junction. It then continued about 20 feet into the field, leaving tire tracks before stopping near a ditch. According to police, the operator backed up the vehicle west toward Route 309, struck another part of the fence and got back onto Route 309 to leave the scene.Police said based on fragments left at the scene, the vehicle is a silver Buick, unknown make or model.
