Drug charges to be filed

State police at the Lehighton barracks received credible information from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations of possible drug activity at a 270 Koch Road, Kresgeville, residence on Wednesday.

After further investigation, suspected heroin bundles, a weigh scale, drug paraphernalia and a weapon were found at the residence. The evidence was transported back to the barracks.Anthony Pellegrino, 37, who lives at that residence, will be charged for the evidence discovered.The weapon located was a Walther P-38 Pistol, serial number 6100N. It is unknown if the weapon was stolen.Anyone with any information regarding the weapon should contact Trooper Shaun Flynn at 610-681-1850.
