The operator of one of two tractor trailers involved in a crash on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township at 1:17 this morning died at the scene, according to state police at the Fern Ridge.

The incident happened at milepost 276.2. Police said I-80 eastbound will be closed for several hours as troopers reconstruct the crash.

No other information on the crash is available at this time.

A detour has been set in place.
