Parryville's first community Christmas tree lighting was a wonderful and heartwarming event. A great big thank you to Kevin Greenzweig for coming up with the idea and bringing it to such a great, wonderful and oh-so heartwarming event.

Christmas music all afternoon, Christmas carols when the tree was lit, the snow flurrying, Santa and all that attended - infants to seniors in their 80s. The cold would not keep all that attended away.I've lived in Parryville all my life and I am so very, very thankful that I was there for this "special" first Christmas tree lighting.Let's keep this a tradition!Again, Kevin: thank you for all the work you did for our town. Also the Volunteer Fire Co., everyone who baked cookies, the music, the borough hall that was open to warm up from the cold, the tree and all who made decorations.
