Four people who were scheduled for preliminary hearings before District Judge Stephen Bayer on Dec. 13 had warrants issued for their arrests after they failed to appear in court.

They include:William James Corbin, 27, of Chester;Yusek Kariem Desdune, 41, of Tamaqua;Jennifer Lynn Marchorro, 33, of Lansford; andLucia Stroble, 31, of Tamaqua.All of the charges filed against them were held over for trial in Schuylkill County Court.Three defendants waived their hearings.Domenica C. Colancecco, 26, of Summit Hill, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to keep right after a March 26 incident. The charges were filed by Coaldale Police Chief Keith Krapf.Colancecco was released on her own recognizance.Amanda L. Ramirez, 27, of Levittown, was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges were filed by Rush Township patrolman Bradley Hess after a June 26 incident.Ramirez was released on her own recognizance.David J. Brode, 22, of Tamaqua, waived charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia to county court. The charges were filed by Tamaqua patrolman Michael Hobbs after an Oct. 26 incident.He was released on his own recognizance.Brode also had charges withdrawn by the arresting officers in three other cases.Also having charges withdrawn were: Ryan A. Petro, 32, of Tamaqua; J25, of Tamaqua; Jeremy Wayne Highland, 25, of Tamaqua; and Kevin S. Wolke, 56, of Tamaqua.
