LCCC faculty, students collect food, gift items for Salvation Army

The elves at the Lehigh Carbon Community College Morgan Campus were very busy in the weeks before Christmas, collecting nonperishable food items and gifts for the Tamaqua Salvation Army to distribute for the holidays. The effort was spearheaded by staff members Rosey Stianche, with assistance from Chuck Rodgers. Staff, faculty and students collected more than 700 food items, along with hats, gloves, scarves and other goods. On hand for the presentation to the Salvation Army were, front row, from left: Nicole DeFrancesco, Karen Tharp, Lisa Wargula and Carrie Fox.
