Ryan Township Police were investigating a number of thefts from motor vehicles when they discovered the crimes may have been committed by two juvenile runaways from the state of Georgia.

It started last week when three 16-year-old boys ran away from their homes, possibly on their way to Bedminster Township in Bucks County, to meet with a girl one of them "met" on social media.Bedminster Police were able to make contact with the three teens, but two of them managed to flee. The third was taken into custody by Dublin Police and taken to a Bucks County juvenile detention facility, telling police the trio had planned to commit robberies.His two partners were captured in Philadelphia this past weekend. The duo had a treasure trove in their possession, including a Ryan Township woman's wallet. That wallet had reportedly been stolen from her vehicle.Ryan Township Police advise anyone who had items stolen from their vehicles or homes to contact authorities at 215-795-2931.
