Anyone searching for the true meaning of Christmas needed to look no further than the Grier City Union Sunday School. Saturday evening, members of the school presented Christmas Through the Carols, narrating the story of Christmas, singing traditional songs and presenting a Living Nativity, peopled by the youth of the organization.

The curtains in front of the school were opened to reveal the Nativity, and then the angels, shepherds and wise men walked the center aisle. A little drummer boy, Kenny Bailey, also traveled the aisle.Kathy Rimm and Jerry Law provided accompaniment with piano and guitar. Loretta Beltz directed the youth with the help of other volunteers.
