The Palmerton Area Senior and Junior High Schools will be presenting its annual Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium. The concert features performances by both the bands and choruses.

It is open to the public, and admission is free. Donations to benefit the band and chorus students will be accepted.The junior high band portion of the program will include the songs "My Favorite Things" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Then the junior high chorus will perform several selections including "A La Nanita Nana" and "Silver Bells."They will be followed by the high school chorus, whose program will include "The Holly and the Ivy" and "White Christmas." The high school concert band will perform wrap up the performances with "Chanukah Celebration," music from "The Incredibles," and "The Christmas Song." The concert will conclude with all the groups joining together with the audience for a holiday singalong.
