Police: Man tried to run over another in Kidder

A man is accused of attempting to run over an acquaintance after a fight that occurred outside a residence in Kidder Township last month, according to police. Anthony Gabriel Felix, 30, of Saylorsburg, Monroe County, had his infant child in the vehicle at the time of the incident, according to police.

Police said Felix tried to run over 24-year-old Renard Tabron during an altercation outside a residence on Freestyle Drive at Jack Frost Ski Resort.Tabron admitted to police that he punched Felix in the face. He said Felix then climbed behind the wheel of a 2013 Honda Accord, with Felix's infant child sitting in the rear, and tried to run over Tabron.Tabron said he jumped onto the hood of the car and held onto the windshield wipers to avoid injury. Felix continued driving for several yards, striking a rock in the front yard.When police arrived on scene, they observed that Felix was bleeding from what appeared to be a broken nose, and saw front end damage to the Accord.Felix was arrested on an outstanding warrant in another case.He now faces charges of aggravated assault, a felony, endangering the welfare of a child, and simple assault.Court documents did not say whether Felix is still behind bars.His preliminary hearing is scheduled for January.
