Thomas Hettler, 38, of Parryville, was committed to the Carbon County Correction Facility, Nesquehoning, on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after an incident at 5

p.m.Friday in the 200 block of Main Street in Parryville.State police at the Lehighton barracks said they were summoned to investigate a report of an out-of-control man. Police said Hettler ignored several verbal commands from troopers and was taken into custody after a brief struggle with officers.
