State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary and an attempted burglary at residences in Monroe County.

A residenceon Golden Eagle Drive, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, was entered sometime between Nov. 21 and 23. Removed was all the copper piping from the basement area. The home is owned byan Easton man.The attempted entry occurredon Ramblewood Drive, also in Ross Township. Troopers said a white man drove onto the property and attempted to open a garage door but failed. The incident occurred at 8:27 p.m. Nov. 1. The suspect vehicle is possibly a Chevrolet Cavalier and the man is in his 30-40s.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
