Giant Food Stores' "Feeding Our Neighbors Everyday" holiday campaign donated 225 turkeys and $1,500 to Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley's annual turkey drive.

"Both the turkeys and funds will help Second Harvest ensure vulnerable families can enjoy a traditional meal this Thanksgiving," said Tom Lenkevich, president of Giant. The company has also donated more than $90,000 in turkeys and cash to food banks and local hunger organizations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.According to Second Harvest, the donation to them will help feed more than 1,000 people."This donation from Giant will help fill empty plates and dinner tables and brighten the lives of our neighbors this holiday season," said Paul Lynch, executive director of Second Harvest.
