Carbon County Controller and Retirement Board secretary Robert Crampsie gave county commissioners an overview of retirement fund activity at a public meeting on Nov. 17.

A total of $332,702.42 in October disbursements included $328,746.11 in monthly benefits paid, and $3,956.31 in refunds.The county's retirement portfolio value was $70,484,242 as of the end of October.- Chris Parker, Reporter
