Pennsylvania hunters have harvested 415 bears in the third day of the statewide bear season.
This raises the three-day total to 2,308, about an 8 percent decrease compared to 2015's three-day total of 2,487.Archery and other early bear season harvest data is still being entered into the Game Commission's database and is not available at this time.Bears have been harvested in 53 counties during the season so far, including:Monroe, 46;Carbon, 22;Schuylkill, 16;and Northampton, 1. No bear had been harvested in Lehigh.
