The Lansford Historical Society will be closed this Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving.

Normal museum hours are from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays.The museum will be open from 6-8 p.m. Friday, for those who may be in town visiting for the holiday.The society encourages those who have not been to the museum before to stop in and see the rich history of Lansford.Memorabilia from Lansford High School, Lehigh Coal and Navigation, fire department, local businesses, town churches, Dorsey Brothers, and more are on display throughout the museum.Check out the newest additions to the museum, which include a cinema corner with items from the Palace and Victoria theaters, and the "Coaldale Corner" which includes photos, signs, and trophies from our neighboring community.The museum is located at 117 E. Bertsch St.
